Nobody has played the finished game yet. This records what people plan to run on day one: intent, not meta. It closes the moment the game goes live, at 8:00 AM PDT on 6 August (midnight on the 7th in Japan), and what's here is a snapshot of that week only.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a 4v4 tag fighting game from Arc System Works, out 6 August 2026. You build a team of four, but you only ever control one of them at a time. The other three are on call.
Those last three are the Assemble calls. Point is not an Assemble: it is simply you at the start of the match.
You can change your Point mid-match. Tagging in one of the other three puts you in control of that character and shifts the slot order around them.
The order is the whole point. The same character does a different job depending on which slot you put them in, so a team is an ordered diamond, not just four names.
You also do not start with all four. Round one is Point and Shooter only. Vertical and Assault unlock during the match, through a throw, a wall-break, or losing a round. Your anti-air is not there in the opening exchange, which is a large part of why slot order matters.
